About Dr. Yolanda Allen
Dr. Yolanda Allen has over twenty years of experience in education, specializing in teaching, Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, educational consulting, tutoring, leadership, behavior management, virtual teaching, staff training, and mental health coaching. Recently, she served as a literacy tutor for the Richmond County School System, overseeing instruction for over twenty students weekly to ensure their academic growth. She also guided Soar Academy through its accreditation process.

Dr. Allen actively works with various school districts in the CSRA, assisting parents with IEP and 504 processes, and has written numerous educational goals and correspondence. She is skilled in differentiating instruction and volunteer program design, having led trainings and workshops for schools and organizations.

Her academic credentials include a Bachelor’s in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University, a Master’s in Administration from Central Michigan University, a PhD in Education with a specialization in K-12 leadership from Capella University, specialized training in Dyslexia, and board certification as a mental health coach.

Dr. Allen is a dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend, church leader, and grandmother. She and her husband are professionals and business owners, running a nonprofit organization that supports local communities.
